Types of Scholarships:

There are two types of scholarships:

1) Scholarship with Work Commitment After Graduation:

  • A candidate holding a Bachelor degree will sign a contract committing to complete both Master (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) studies and then accept employment in a suitable post for a period of time which is at least equal to the study period.
  • A candidate holding a Master degree will sign a contract committing to complete Doctorate (PhD) studies and then accept employment in a suitable post for a period of time which is at least equal to the study period.
  • Salary During Master Studies:
    • married: AED 19,375 - AED 22,000
    • single: AED 17,800 - AED 20,200
  • Salary During PhD Studies:
    • married: AED 24,625 - AED 29,875
    • Single: AED 22,600 - AED 27,400

2) Scholarship WITHOUT Work Commitment After Graduation:

  • A candidate holding a Bachelor degree will sign a contract committing to complete Master (MSc) studies only. In this case, no work commitment is required after graduation.
  • A candidate holding a Master degree will sign a contract committing to complete Doctorate (PhD) studies only. In this case, no work commitment is required after graduation.
  • Salary During Master Studies:
    • AED 10,500
  • Salary During PhD Studies:
    • AED 16,500
