The Program
Buhooth is an ambitious program that aims to achieve the vision of H.H. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to transform the UAE into a Centre of Excellence in Engineering and Science Research.
The program offers Master and Doctorate scholarships for UAE Nationals. The main aims of the program are to encourage and promote postgraduate studies and research in the UAE and to graduate UAE nationals with specialized skills that will benefit UAE institutions. The graduates will also provide a source for the nationalization of UAE academic institutions. In addition, the program aims to establish and promote research collaboration between academia and industry and to provide means for know-how and technology transfer to the country. Under this program, Master scholarship students will be registered on the MSc by Research degree offered by Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR). Doctorate scholarship students will be registered on the PhD in Engineering degree.
